I used to enjoy a rainy Saturday afternoon watching an Audrey Hepburn classic. I love the fashionable ones like Funny Face, Sabrina, My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey had an elegant sense of style and it was always exciting to see what her character would be wearing next.

The Flamenco Festival and Swan Lake

Ade and I went to a night at the Flamenco Festival(08) . The show was wonderful! I have always enjoyed watching Spanish Flamenco and Oriental dancing. The dancing was great and so were the costumes. Lots of frills and ruffles. The dancers are really exciting to watch. I saw a Flamenco show a few years ago when I was at Georgia State University. It was a different group but just as brilliant.

A few weeks ago the American Ballet Theatre presented Swan Lake (09)at the English National Opera. This was my first visit to the London Coliseum. The show was very nice but I was not pleased with the theatre layout. The seats were hard but even so we still enjoyed the show. The dancing was beautiful and elegant, music smooth and soothing. I'm hoping we can make it to Giselle and Madame Butterfly but next time we'll spring for better seating.
